Homelessness is increasingly affecting more and more people across Massachusetts.  It exists here in our own city as men and women who have fallen on hard times.  There are also children and mothers who find themselves in desperate situations as well.  Sadly, people in these circumstances often go unseen.  Scripture reminds us though of the great worth that each of us has to God.  We bear in us the Imago Dei, the image of God.  Each of us stamped with his likeness in such a way that whatever brokenness we may experience, we are never too far from God.

Building relationship with these men and women is a critical part of loving them well.  Over the past 3 years we have partnered with Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore, and their sister organization, Home with Friends, to help take a proactive role in seeing those who have been marginalized in our culture.  We continue striving to be a place where men and women who are living on the streets of Quincy can feel welcome.
